The Start of B#

B# Entertainment was established in September of 2000 by Michelle Layne.  After years of being a DJ for other people, her entrepreneurial spirit and love of entertaining forced her to start her own company.

When Michelle started she had two (2) shows a week and after some rapid growth and a merger, after months of collaboration, with Shelly Jacobs (formerly Absolute Entertainment) in early 2001, B# now has 40 plus shows a week including DJ, Karaoke, Private Parties, Weddings, Corporate Events and Radio Station Remotes.  B# also employs more than 20 DJ's now and are looking to grow even more this year. Michelle handles all of the Kansas bookings and Shelly takes care of bookings on the Missouri side.

B# would have never happened without the support of Michelle's good friends.  Their constant encouragement and just "being there" gave Michelle that extra something that she needed to get the ball rolling on making what is now the fastest growing DJ/Karaoke company in Kansas City .  Some of those friends are among the many DJ/KJ's that make B# Entertainment the premier company to take care any musical need you may have.

As we move into 2003 we at B# Entertainment want to continue to be your Number 1 stop for all of your DJ and Karaoke needs.  Thank you for two great years of serving the greater Kansas City area.
